We have a pretty unique way of doing this and your input is crucial to the process. First we lay out materials on a flat surface and try different combinations. Experience tells us that every client sees things differently, and after all, it is you who will have to look at the results for years to come. To help you with your decisions we have an angled mirror mounted above the layout area. This allows you to get a distance perspective of potential layouts.
Framing choices are as varied as the items that need a frame. What type of frame you require really depends on what you are framing and what final effect you want to achieve. Your choices include classic framing, photo frames, tapestries and cross-stitches, mirrors, double glass (floating) frames, box frames, block mounting, block stretching, canvas stretching, glass & clips, clipper frames, and mount and shrink wrap (ideal for exhibitions). Once the type of frame is decided you can then make choices about materials. There is a massive range of both mount card colours and frame mouldings. This can be daunting, however, with our expert advice, and our method of laying things out, you can be assured that the finished frame will be all (and we hope more) than you expected it to be. We only use the highest quality materials.
And when decisions have been made your frame is made by our skilled craftspeople right in our workshop. Our workshop is situated behind the showroom- your artwork and frame never leave the premises. They certainly never go to a mass production facility offsite. Your framing is taken care of by someone that you met, some one who you are know is going to give it there absolute attention. Our skilled framing technicians put years of experience and training into ensuring that your frames and mounting are the absolute best that they can be.
